About the Greater Sudbury Airport

The Greater Sudbury Airport (GSA) is one of Northern Ontario's busiest and an ideal location a professional flight-training centre. The airport has two intersecting runways, a 24 hour Flight Service Station, close practice areas and a variety of IFR procedures and approaches.

The GSA is currently served by Air Canada, Bearskin Airlines, Porter Airlines and Sunwing Airlines.  Air Canada offers multiple daily flights to and from Toronto's Pearson International Airport, which provide worldwide connections, while Porter Airlines offers daily service to and from downtown Toronto's Billy Bishop City Airport, which connects passengers to Boston, Chicago, New York, Halifax, Moncton, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, Thunder Bay and Windsor.  Regular scheduled flights provided by Bearskin Airlines offer air service to and from several Northeastern Ontario centres such as Ottawa, Thunder Bay, Sault Ste Marie, Timmins, North Bay and Kapuskasing. Sunwing Airlines offers flights from Greater Sudbury to various sun destinations from December to March.
